Through a systematic review, indicators describing financial risk from sickness in both English and Chinese literatures, which published during January 1st, 1990 and January 1st, 2008 are summarized. As a result, 11 indicators were described and summarized as 2 categories. That indicators on financial risk and health care utilization should be considered simultaneously is recommended.
