Abstract
A review of recent advances in techniques for demographic analysis is presented. The areas covered include construction of demographic indices of change in components of population growth, frailty survival models, classification models, multi-level modeling, spatial modeling and models of reproductive processes. Statistical methods for analyzing demographic data collected through complex survey methods are also reviewed.
