We reviewed the article, "Vegetables, Fruit, and Colon Cancer in the Iowa Women's Health Study" (1). The study was strong in several respects; specifically, prospective collection of dietary information, thorough statistical analysis with explanations about why specific test were used, and pathologic confirmation of the cases of cancer were used. There were, however, several weaknesses of the study that should also be addressed.URL
