Improving smallholder poultry production and egg consumption in children under two in Ethiopia.
Summary
The goals of this research for development project are to increase poultry production and egg consumption in poultry owning households in Ethiopia utilizing an interdisciplinary One Health approach. This project brings together a multidisciplinary team from seven different organizations across academia, the public and private sector, with the goals of both increasing poultry production through private sector engagement, and overcoming barriers to egg consumption in households, whilst mitigating environmental impacts.
