Erin is interested in topics of mental and physical health throughout the life course. Her research looks at how important measures of wellbeing vary by race, gender, sexual orientation, and the role that discrimination, chronic stress, and social support play in these processes. She also explores through these lenses the long-term effects of exposure to violence and contact with the criminal legal system.

Presently, Erin is a Graduate Research Assistant for the CPC project Cardiovascular Health of Sexual and Gender Minorities in the Hispanic Community Health Study.
