Founded just four years ago, the Consortium is a non-profit member organization representing institutions from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, the international health development NGO community, and academia. It includes 18 institutional members from the triangle and triad region of North Carolina, representing some of the best and brightest in global health. Member institutions include GlaxoSmithKline, UNC, Duke, NC State, RTI, Intrahealth, FHI 360 and others. The consortium’s purpose is to be a catalyst for the region and its member institutions: facilitating shared business growth, fostering access to talent, promoting best practice, supporting economic growth, and providing a common voice for the region in global health.

Register now to join together with a diverse array of stakeholders from the North Carolina global health community, as well as national and global leaders, to explore the groundbreaking innovations currently changing the landscape of global health.  The conference will explore the successes of these innovations in research and implementation, as well as the lessons and challenges to their adoption and the opportunities to bridge the gaps in between.

Who Should Attend?  Current and future global health professionals engaged in biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, contract research organizations, non-governmental organizations, academia, media, social entrepreneurships, philanthropy, and government who are interested in leveraging innovation through collaboration to improve the health of the world’s communities.
