Undergraduate Internship Program
***Important Program Update 2/21/25: Due to changes made at the federal level that have heavily impacted the research landscape at the Carolina Population Center (and UNC and other research universities more broadly), CPC is saddened to report it can no longer support its paid internship program for this coming summer. We may still be able to offer more limited unpaid research opportunities but recognize that this may no longer be feasible or of interest to students. Our deepest apologies for the change. We recognize that paid internships provide valuable research experience, and our undergraduate internships are an important part of training the next generation of scholars.
Students who are still interested in an unpaid summer internship at the CPC are welcome to apply at the link below. We will communicate directly with applicants (including those who have already submitted applications) about potential unpaid internship opportunities. Please email Margaret Swingler (margaret.swingler@unc.edu) with any questions. Again, we apologize for this unfortunate news. ***
Applications are now open for the Summer 2025 Internship Program. Please visit the link below to apply. For full consideration completed applications must be submitted by February 24th, 2025.
