Christopher Browning is Distinguished Professor of Sociology and an affiliate of the Institute for Population Research at Ohio State University. His research focuses on neighborhood and activity space influences on health and adolescent development, emphasizing the causes and consequences of neighborhood social processes such as collective efficacy and network dynamics. He is the Principal Investigator of the Adolescent Health and Development in Context study.
